Making full dentures can be so flexible

Digital, perfect fit, highly esthetic and profitable - the new Ceramill Full Denture System (FDS) from Amann Girrbach makes it possible to respond individually to all patient wishes. By adding tooth arches and tooth segments to various tooth libraries, Ceramill FDS offers the broadest range of options for the digital fabrication of dentures in the industry. The new Ceramill FDS process leaves nothing to be desired: from high quality and individually milled, as well as 3D-printed denture bases in combination with highly esthetic prefabricated teeth from leading tooth manufacturers, which can be adapted 100% digitally to any situation, both basally and occlusally, through to individually milled tooth arches and tooth segments made of the validated Ivotion material from Ivoclar. Here, the users benefit from integrated, easy-to-implement workflows, validated materials and coordinated processing procedures.

Secondary crowns

0 % complicated. 100 % digital.

Together with the Ceramill Matik Full Service Unit, the Ceramill software makes the fabrication of accurately fitting secondary crowns for telescopic restorations easier and more intuitive than ever before.

The familiar, wizard-guided Ceramill workflow is employed here and the time required is drastically reduced. Via the indication "Secondary crowns" in the database, the dental technician can save matched parameters as well as specific milling strategies specifically for this indication.

The workflow has also been optimized to give a more precise definition of the insertion direction and an improved block-out when creating crown bases. After calculating and outputting the milling program, the user can select the re-milling cycles directly on the machine display and re-mill to the desired fit. Furthermore, a workaround or output of multiple milling jobs is not required.

Workflow for secondary crowns Step by Step

Step 01
Scanning

The primary telescopes are scanned in the first step.

Step 02
Design

This is followed by the guided creation of the abutments.

Step 03
Milling

In the next step, the abutments are milled to the control measurement stage.

Step 04
Checking

Time for a control – the friction is checked.

Step 05
Finishing

Once the optimum fit has been achieved, the job is completed - otherwise readjustments are made.
